Terms & Conditions.
By hiring equipment from Rent To Clean, the customer agrees to the following terms and conditions:
Rental Agreement
- The carpet cleaning machine is rented on a temporary basis for an agreed period.
- The customer is responsible for the care, use, and return of the Equipment.
Holding Deposit
- A £30 holding deposit is required at the time of rental pick up. This deposit will be refunded in full upon return of the Equipment in a clean and working condition.
- If the Equipment is returned unclean or in an unsatisfactory condition, the £30 deposit will be retained to cover the cost of professional cleaning.
Return Condition
- The Equipment must be returned in the same clean state and working order as it was when hired.
- Any damage, misuse, or loss of the Equipment will make the customer fully liable for the replacement cost of a brand-new machine.
Late Returns
- The Equipment must be returned at the agreed date and time.
- If the Equipment is returned more than an hour late of agreed time, the customer will be charged an additional fee equivalent to one full day’s rental rate for each day it is overdue.
Identification Requirement
- A valid photo identification (ID) is required when collecting the Equipment. This must match the name on the booking or rental agreement.
Customer Responsibility
- The customer is responsible for ensuring the Equipment is used in accordance with all operating instructions provided.
- Any issues or faults must be reported to Rent To Clean immediately.
Liability
- Rent To Clean accepts no liability for any damage to property, carpets, or injury resulting from the misuse or mishandling of the Equipment.
By proceeding with the rental, the customer confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
